Pidy Caters to Demand for Global Cuisine with New Mediterranean-Inspired Iris Cups
We've added two new flavours of its ready-to-fill Iris Cups.
Perfect for operators looking to meet demand for internationally inspired cuisine and fusion food, both flavours are inspired by the Mediterranean. Choose from Garlic Butter & Parsley, and Tomato & Herbs de Provence.

Fabien Levet, Commercial Manager at Pidy UK, explains the decision behind the flavours;
Our product development team is consistently innovating new products to meet customer demand. In this case, we’re meeting several requirements at once; demand for global cuisine, convenience-led solutions, vibrant presentation, and versatile, on-trend flavours. Our Mediterranean-inspired Iris Cups are compatible with a range of fillings for maximum culinary creativity.
The new additions join Pidy’s existing neutral-flavoured Iris Cups. All three variants are suitable for hot and cold fillings, and maintain their crispy texture for up to three hours once filled – making them ideal for operators looking to prep ahead of large events. Beyond canapes, the Iris Cups work particularly well in pairs as an appetiser, or as a savoury snack on an afternoon tea stand.
Pastries are an excellent way to instantly elevate a food offering, however, can be time-, space-, and labour-intensive to create in house. This is especially true of specialist shapes, like the tulip-effect of Pidy’s Iris Cups. By utilising ready-to-fill solutions, chefs retain the flexibility over fillings, while guaranteeing consistent quality that looks and tastes amazing every time.

Chefs can also take inspiration from Pidy’s taco-style recipe (using the Tomato & Herbs de Provence Iris Cup), or Pidy’s Parmesan and Courgette Cream recipe (perfect with the Garlic Butter & Parsley Iris Cup).
These join a bank of delicious recipes for all occasions that provide an invaluable resource on Pidy’s website.
Chefs can also be among the first to learn of Pidy’s other innovative product launches, thanks to a dedicated ‘New Products’ tab, featuring the Iris Cups, as well as a trio of colourful trendies, shortcrust vegan trendies, and creative bunny-shaped puff pastry cases – all new for 2026.
