Use as a hidden core inside ganache or buttercream. Choose thick, low-moisture jams to prevent sogginess. Gently press a second shell on top and give a small twist to seal. Place filled macarons in an airtight container. Let them sit in the fridge for at least 24 hours—this allows the shell to absorb moisture from the filling and become chewy. Storage - Fridge: Up to 5 days in an airtight container. Freezer: Freeze filled macarons in a single layer, then store in a sealed bag or box. Thaw in the fridge.
