Pidy Adds a Pop of Colour to Trendy Dessert Pastry Range
We're helping operators bring colours to their menu with the addition of several new vibrant flavours to our popular Trendy tartlet range.

Available in Lemon, Raspberry, and Speculoos flavours, the new pastry cases join our existing sweet and chocolate variants and measure 4cm in diameter – making them ideal for individual portions.
Fabien Levet, Commercial Manager at Pidy UK, explains the development process behind the new range:
We're consistently looking to build upon our offering and react to customer feedback. With presentation playing such a crucial role in the foodservice industry, we wanted to add new flavour options that look and taste amazing. We're delighted with out new colourful trendies, and have prioritised popular flavours which are compatible with a range of fillings for maximum culinary creativity.

Each Trendy is made with high-quality ingredients, including free-range eggs, in line with our Clean recipe commitment to eliminate additives and preservatives. Despite this, the pastry cases boast and impressive shelf life of 8 months plus, meaning chefs can quickly grab and fill as required. This is a massive advantage for smaller venues looking to offer a premium dessert that faces space, time, or staff constraints.
The Lemon, Raspberry, and Speculoos flavoured tartlets are also suitable to be prepared in advance, and guarantee quality maintained for up to 48 hours once filled. Chefs can even freeze the pastries when filled – perfect for large scale catering or chefs looking to prep ahead of busy lunch and dinner services.

As well as the new flavours, we've has also introduced a Vegan version of our popular traditional Sweet Trendy. Made with vegetable fat instead of butter and eggs, the new recipe helps chefs cater to a broader range of customers. The subtle sweet finish means these plant-based pastry cases are compatible with many flavour fillings.
